The founder:

Just Wig It, LLC was founded by Alexsis Dortch of Canton Ms. My passion for hair started in my early teen years. Hair was the main factor that contributed to my high confidence level. Hair has always been one of my dreams to do in life but after graduating from MCC with my cosmetology degree back in 2016 not knowing where to start and having no support I decided to put this off to the side for a while. 1500 hours a whole year wasted I thought. Fear got the best of me. I was so scared and doubted myself a lot that a week after graduating I decided to go back to school to become an RRT. After being in the medical field for some time trying to find my way in it I realized that no matter what my attention was always drawn back to hair. The signs were there but I still ignored them because of fear. I let years go by not just because of fear but because I know everyone can relate to this you’re taught all through school and even by your parents to go to school and get something behind ya name. I did just that! But that still wasn’t enough for me! I wanted more I wanted something that I could call mine! Things changed on Feb 27, 2020. I decided to break this bond with fear instead of running from the signs I accepted them and prayed for understanding and I kid you, not that was the best decision ever! I always knew I would go after what I wanted to do in life I just didn’t know when. A year and a half later after carefully perfecting my craft and doing my research I built my brand Just Wig It, LLC.
